The Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium and the University of Wisconsin–Madison are pleased to announce the 2025 Global Oncology Symposium on December 10, 2025. This annual event brings together clinicians, researchers, advocates, and thought leaders from around the world to advance the conversation on global cancer research and care.

Location: Health Sciences Learning Center, University of Wisconsin–Madison
This year’s theme, “Uniting for Impact: Advancing Cancer Care Through Collaboration,” highlights the vital role of partnerships in improving outcomes across diverse populations and settings. The symposium will provide a platform to share innovations, exchange insights, and highlight the impact of collaborative work in global oncology. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect with peers, learn from trainee research, and engage with international experts in cancer equity.
Pre-Symposium Session – Register Here
A Global Oncology Pre-Symposium will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Pyle Center, University of Wisconsin–Madison, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This special session, “Your Global Oncology Funding Roadmap: Navigating NIH, Industry, and Philanthropic Partnerships,” is designed for faculty and final-year trainees preparing to independently apply for grants and lead research initiatives.

Call for Abstracts –
Researchers and trainees are encouraged to submit abstracts and showcase their contributions to the global oncology community:
- All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters.
- The top five abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.
- The top three presenters will receive first, second, and third place Trainee Best Oral Presentation Awards.
- Submission deadline: September 29, 2025.
